The spacious living room is designed for relaxation after a day on the hill, with a leather sectional, chairs, and a gas fireplace expertly decorated. A beautiful hardwood built-in desk and book cases plus free WiFi are there for the professional that needs to get some work done. The special corner alcove with large window seats and unbeatable views of the mountains and the Strawberry Hill is perfect for people watching. There is a large wall mounted flat screen TV and DVD perched over the fireplace.  A covered balcony overlooks  the gondolita, Strawberry Hill, and the lower front side, so you can watch the skiers descend at the end of the day– if you’re not the last ones on the hill.

The full kitchen features granite counter tops and all the best gadgets for mountain cooking.   The two leather bar stools around the kitchen peninsula are perfect for causal dining, helping the chef, or entertaining. For the more formal dinner the dining area boasts a beautiful hardwood table and seating for six.  Don’t feel like cooking? Head downstairs or into the Taos Ski Village to enjoy one of the area’s fine dining establishments including the Edelweiss’ own Blonde Bear Tavern and Cafe Naranja.

The master bedroom offers a King bed with fine linens, flat screen TV, and has a seating area and an alcove to sit and look at the happenings down below on Strawberry Hill.   The master bath has a shower glass stall with a single vanity. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a flat screen TV in the room.  The bathroom is across the hall with a glass shower stall and single vanity.

If you need additional unwinding and some muscle relaxation check out the spa services on the first floor, including a dry sauna, hot tub, and exercise room with updated exercise equipment and free weights. The Edelweiss’ outstanding massage therapists are also on hand for massage treatments as well as facials and a unique body scrub treatment.  The kids will enjoy the Edelweiss’ shared game room equipped with a pool table, Foosball table and big screen TV.
